About this Event
Befriending Fungi with Aaron Tupac 🍄🟫🌱🌳🍄🔍🔬🥾✨
It's that delightful time of year when the rains have brought us an abundance of mushrooms. Mushrooms come up just a few days after a rain for a short period. So now is the time to go out and meet some mushrooms!
This event is a donation based, cash only (recommended sliding scale $15-$25) mushroom walk where Aaron will be sharing:
• How to notice fungi and where they live
• Basic steps for identification of mushrooms
• How to contribute to the science of fungi
• How to love a mushroom
• The queer lives of fungi
• Meet friends and fungi!
Please come prepared to walk for 90 minutes on a moderate trail on an unpaved path in the Santa Clarita area. Recommended to wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves & pants, and bring water. The exact location and meetup instructions will be emailed in advance.
