Beetle Pinning

Join local teaching artist, Domingo with RIP Repurposed and learn everything there is to know about insect pinning. In this two hour class, you’ll learn how to sustainably source, hydrate, pin, and mount an insect specimen. At the end of class, you’ll get to take home your beautifully pinned insect.

What’s Included:

• Info about the art of insect pinning
• One medium sized beetle for pinning per attendee
• All insect pinning materials are provided

Extra Notes:

• At the end of class, a 5x5” shadow box can be purchased from Domingo for $18 (plus tax) for framing your piece at home once your insect has dried.

Workshop Tickets are Final Sale and not eligible for refunds:

• Our Workshop Tickets are like concert or event tickets - they are non-refundable but are transferable to a different person. If you find yourself unable to attend a workshop, you may find some one to take your place.
• If someone else will be taking your ticket, Email Us and let us know their name so we can add it to our list. In the case of unsafe weather like a severe snow storm, we will cancel the workshop and reschedule for a future date. If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled date, we will offer you a refund.

Accessibility Note: Lot’sa is located on a ground floor. There is a single stall bathroom, (not ADA accessible). There is an ADA accessible bathroom at a nearby business if needed.
