Join the researcher Fernanda Herrera et Antonio Cruz in their exploration of Luxembourg’s wild bees and discover their beauty during a unique photo session with the bees as models!

Fernanda and Antonio are members of the BeeLibre Core Team, an ongoing initiative by the Fondation faune-flore and the National Museum of Natural History Luxembourg which started its activities in 2023 with the goal of developing an open-access, user-friendly online database of local wild bee content. From wild bee species profiles, pollen data and DNA barcodes to bibliographic references. Corinne is a biologist and teacher at the Lycée Ermesinde. Partially seconded to the Natural History Museum, she works with school classes and youngsters from the Science Club. Furthermore, she contributes to the development of exhibitions.

Fernanda et Antonio font partie de l’équipe principale de BeeLibre, une initiative en cours de la Fondation faune-flore et du Musée national d’histoire naturelle du Luxembourg, lancée en 2023 avec pour objectif de développer une base de données en ligne en libre accès, dédiée aux abeilles sauvages locales. Celle-ci comprend des fiches d’espèces, des données polliniques, des codes-barres ADN ainsi que des références bibliographiques. Corinne Kroemmer est biologiste et enseignante au Lycée Ermesinde. Partiellement détachée au Naturmusée, elle travaille avec des classes scolaires et les jeunes du Science Club et contribue à l’élaboration d’expositions.
