About this Event
Think of this as coloring… but with pottery.
Pick between a beer stein or cowboy boot. Then, we’ll walk you through the basics of underglaze (aka paint for pottery) and glaze, then let you play with colors, patterns and different tools to make your pottery piece your own. We’ll glaze and fire it so it comes back glossy, durable as well as waterproof and food-safe — ready for sipping or showing off.
Your ticket includes:
- All Supplies Provided: Your choice of a choice of a beer stein and a cowboy boot to paint. We bring the steins and all the paints and materials you'll need to paint your customized stein!
- Hands-On Instruction: A relaxed, hands-on pottery painting workshop guided by an experienced host.
- Beginner-Friendly Vibes: Laid-back, no-pressure energy perfect for first-timers, solo guests, and friend groups alike.
- Feel-Good Energy: Enjoy a welcoming, community-centered experience hosted at unique local spots — from breweries to plant shops and cozy cafés — that make the experience feel extra special.
- Glazing, Kiln Firing + Shipping: Two professional kiln firings + glazing for your pottery piece. This is essential so your pottery pieces are food-safe and waterproof. Note: You must submit this digital form after your workshop to ensure you receive your pieces back (don't worry - we'll send this to you via email after your workshop). If we have not received a form submission within 30 days of your workshop, your pottery will be recycled. Your pottery piece will be collected by our host after the workshop and returned to our headquarters in Needham MA where they will be carefully hand-glazed and fired twice by our studio professionals. Your pieces will be processed and shipped back to you after the glazing and firing process is complete in 6-8 weeks.
