New routes for Beer Blazer 2026 (avoiding the rocky fields at the start)The Beer Blazer first started in 2012 and is still going strong. The race starts in the fields above Pecorama and finishes at Beer Primary School and is truly 'multi-terrain'.
The 10 mile has over 1700 feet of elevation and is a real trail challenge. The route will pass over some of the famous ‘Grizzly territory’, fields, tracks, cliff tops and open common, the challenging pebble beach between Branscombe and Beer Head, the Undercliffs and the stairway to heaven, all with breath-taking views of the Jurassic Coast.
The 6 miler will cover a lot of the same amazing terrain, albeit slighter shorter & less vertically challenging!
There will be a cut-off for the 10mile route (30 mins at 2 mile water station @ Sea Shanty cafe). Runners failing to make this cut-off will be directed back along the beach towards the 'stairway' to complete the 6 mile route. We expect the last runners to come in under 3 hours.
There will be a BBQ and Refreshments available at the Primary School. Race HQ is at the Primary School at the bottom of the car-park.

On the day of the races, participants must be 17 years or over for the 10 mile race & 15 for the 6 mile race.
No dogs allowed on the school grounds, sorry for inconvenience.
