In the tranquility of the Zwartkops Mountains, on the banks of the Blaauwbank & Crocodile Rivers, lies Glenburn Lodge. Situated within the World Heritage Site, the “Cradle of Humankind”, this venue & spa is a mere 30 minutes from both Johannesburg & Pretoria, making it the ideal breakaway to explore the trails, magnificent scenery & spectacular wildlife
Entry Includes: Finisher Medal – a branded flute glass followed by a complimentary bubbly tasting after the trail & true to the theme, beer tasters will be at the water points. Chill zone with live music, fully stocked water-points, exclusive access to well-marked trails, trail fees, medical support, restaurant with a fully stocked bar onsite along with a true Wild African Experience!
Route: As there are no extreme climbs or immensely difficult terrain on the 5km route, we’ve rated the route a 3/5. The 10km and 15km will take on the challenge of the “koppie” but the views make it well worth it! Wild Africa Experiences have rated this route a 3.5/5 (5 being the most difficult). Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on the 5km & 10km route.
