Beep Ball is a form of baseball designed for individuals with visual impairments. All players wear blindfolds during play. The pitcher and catcher are members of the batting team. The ball emits a beeping sound, and the pitcher alerts the batter when the pitch is thrown. Once the ball is hit into fair territory, an official activates one of two buzzing bases, and the batter runs toward the sounding base while the defense attempts to secure the ball.
