About our event and our message:
The event is designed to attract people willing to immerse themselves in creative workshops, which have been shown to improve mental health and get involved in discussions about the link between mental health and homelessness in Manchester.
Real Change Manchester (https://realchangemanchester.c...) is a charity fund committed to helping people experiencing homelessness in our city. To achieve its goals, it partners with charities such as Mustard Tree, Coffee4Craig, Centrepoint, and many more.
Charity representatives will be at the event to provide attendees with information about their work and volunteering opportunities. We want to spark an honest conversation and get people interested in Real Change's work - together we can bee the change Manchester needs!
We will have three creative workshops to choose from, which come at a small cost to raise money for the charity fund. The workshops are designed to be sustainable and use recycled materials. These will include:
Jar Painting - £5
Bracelet /Phone Charm Making - £5
Moodboard/Vision Board Making - £5
All the proceeds from the event go directly to Real Change.

How do I find the venue?
Please use the Boundary Street West entrance for the Manchester School of Art's main reception and access to the Lowry (formerly Benzie) Building. The David Crowe Lecture Theatre is on the 4th floor. You can see it from the lifts. A member of the Team will be at the entrance if you need any help :)
Food and Refreshment
This is an alcohol-free event. Cakes, teas, soft drinks, and juices will be available at the venue. Please feel free to bring any snacks you'd like during the workshops. Hot food is not allowed.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets. Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions or if we can offer you additional support!
