About this Event
Join us for the February edition of Bed-Stuy’s Community Board 3 Health & Social Services Wellness Series, a community-centered afternoon focused on movement, education, and environmental health awareness.
This event will be hosted at Throop Court (377–388 Throop Ave & Lafayette Ave) and led by Esfir Health & Performance in partnership with The Fit In Wellness Collective.
Our goal is to make important health information accessible, practical, and grounded in the realities of our community.
What to Expect
We’ll begin with a gentle Pilates session led by The Fit In, focused on breath, mobility, and low-impact movement that meets every body where it is.
? Please bring your own mat for the Pilates session. No prior experience is required.
Following the movement portion, Esfir Health & Performance will lead an evidence-based educational lecture exploring:
- Mold & mildew exposure
- Environmental toxins & heavy metals
- Common causes and sources
- Health effects and symptoms
- Testing options
- Treatment and prevention approaches
This session is ideal for anyone looking to better understand how environmental factors may be impacting their health—and what steps they can take to protect it.
