Centrestage Theatre is proud to present this play by renowned Canadian author Mark Crawford. Bed & Breakfast is a heartfelt comedy about “being out” in a small town, skeletons in the closet, and finding a place to call home.
Brett and Drew want to move out of their tiny downtown apartment and into a house, but they just lost their seventh bidding war in Toronto. When Brett unexpectedly inherits the historic family home in a quiet little tourist town, the couple decides to move out of the quick-paced city to renovate and run a B & B. But the boys face friction in their new community and discover the simple life is more complicated than they thought.
With dozens of hilarious characters--male, female, young, old, gay, straight--all portrayed by two men, Bed and Breakfast is a theatrical tour de force that's as laugh-out-loud funny as it is deeply poignant.
