Becoming Wilder: Compassion Fatigue Breathwork & Reiki Circle

This gathering is perfect for anyone who feels overwhelmed and exhausted by the demands of caring for others and who wants to feel more clear, calm, and grounded. No experience with breathwork or reiki is needed. It is simply a peaceful space to pause and put yourself first for an evening.

We will begin with a grounding meditation practice- either seated or lying down- to quiet the mind and settle into the body. From there, we will move into guided breathwork for 30 minutes, followed by a 25 minute restorative Reiki energy session. Then we will move into a guided journaling experience to explore feelings surrounding compassion fatigue and what it could look like to wildly choose yourself while being in the thick of caring for everyone else. We will close with an optional sharing circle, offering space to reflect aloud or simply to listen in community.

Journals and pens will be provided. Please bring anything that helps you to feel grounded and at ease. Mats, blankets, pillows, and tea will be available for your comfort.
