Join us for an evening of connection, community, and storytelling.

After 10 years of traditional galas, Green Card Voices made a deliberate shift. We wanted our annual event to reflect what’s central to our work: creating spaces where people engage directly with each other’s lived experiences through storytelling and build understanding across differences.

Now, in its third year, it has become a core part of how we bring this work to life.

At the heart of this event is Story Stitch, our signature conversation card game designed to spark meaningful dialogue and connect people across backgrounds. You'll join an intimate circle of eight, including immigrants and refugees from over 30 countries, for deep, personal storytelling that fosters empathy and belonging.

✨ What to Expect
  • Interactive Storytelling: Participate in Story Stitch and engage in honest conversations that deepen understanding and connection.
  • Inspiring Program: Hear powerful stories that reflect the richness and resilience of immigrant communities.
  • Cultural Connections: Enjoy delicious, culturally-inspired appetizers in community with 150 guests.
  • Inclusive Atmosphere: Come as you are. This is a relaxed, welcoming space where everyone belongs.

Why It Matters
Becoming Neighbors is more than an event, it’s a celebration of representation, resilience, and relationship-building. We believe that by sharing stories, we create opportunities for understanding and inclusion that extend far beyond a single evening.

Let’s come together, listen deeply, and truly become neighbors.
