Becoming Ambidancerous
Who is this for?
A dancer who has been primarily dancing one dance role in Lindy Hop and wants to learn how to or be more comfortable dancing the role they are less confident in.
Why is this beneficial?
Knowing both roles broadens one's understanding of connection and flow in partnered dancing. It will also assist in improving body control and footwork during dance.
Embracing Switch Dancing
Who is this for?
A dancer who has a basic understanding of both dance roles in Lindy Hop or is also taking Becoming Ambidancerous.
Why is this beneficial?
It's often challenging to dance the role you are less confident in when you have spent a long time becoming proficient at the other role. Switch dancing will help with this as both members of the partnership get the opportunity to dance both roles as you only need to dance in your less confident role for half the time! This is also a great way to grow as a dancer and refine the smoothness of your movement.
