During Week of the Belgian musea, step into a playful, artistic world where humor, imagination, and transformation take centre stage. This free, open workshop—a collaboration between argos and MOOSS—invites visitors of all ages to create a giant wall drawing together, invent hybrid creatures and future ancestors, and experiment with light, textiles, and projection. An accessible and playful way to experience the themes of the Becoming Ancestors exhibition: How do you imagine ancestors, and what stories do you pass on to future generations? What can you do?
- Contribute to a collective drawing of a mythical landscape filled with animals, ancestors, and strange beings.
- Transform yourself with fabrics, old clothes, and recycled materials: become a hybrid figure, a fantasy creature, or a future ancestor.
- Play with light and shadow: project your creations onto the wall or onto each other.
- Capture your own fictional ancestor in a photo with your smartphone.
