Purpose of the Event
The event is being organised to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The organiser shares that their aunty sadly passed away from cancer two years ago, and since then they have continued fundraising efforts to support families facing similar situations.
Event Activities
* Participants can choose to either:
* Join the walking group, or
* Join the running group
* Both groups will:
* Travel 15 minutes out
* Then 15 minutes back
* Everyone will return to the starting location afterward for coffee and refreshments.
Refreshments
* A complimentary batch brew coffee will be provided free of charge by Fuelled By Caffeine.
* Alternative drinks will also be available to purchase.
Donations
* Donations will be collected:
* In the lead-up to the event
* On the day itself
Who Can Attend
* Families
* Friends
* Dogs
* All supporters are welcome
The organisers hope to create an enjoyable community morning while raising as much money as possible for a meaningful cause.
