Meet at Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary for a casual guided hike around an almost 100-year-old beaver pond complex. If conditions are right, we may spot beavers, possibly even baby beavers at this time of year, as they begin their nightly activities. Afterward, drive a short distance to Antimony Brewing to enjoy drinks with the group. Bring a friend or make new ones during this fun and relaxed outing.This program will cover up to 1.7 miles on an unsurfaced trail that is gently sloping, with one or two steeper hills. The program route may include areas that are lightly flooded in the spring due to beaver activity. Depending on recent weather, the trail surface might be wet or muddy and contain exposed tree roots or rocks.
