Taught by Beth SyrnykBias tape is used mainly to finish off the raw edge of a sewing project but can also be used as a decorative edging. Most people are familiar with the solid colored poly/cotton blend available pre made at most fabric shops but it can be made with almost any fabric.
Join Beth in this class and learn how to make your own bias tape, in cotton, both single fold and double fold. Once you have created your own bias tape Beth will show you how it can be used to finish a hem, armholes, neckline, a potholder and more. You will leave with 2.5 m of your own bias tape and and more skill added to your sewing knowledge.
Every project you complete adds to your sewing skills that can be used on future projects. Learn by doing.
