An evening of beautiful songs and spirituals performed with voice and piano. The programme will feature compositions by Bach, Barber and Vaughan Williams as well as traditional Spirituals such as ‘Steal Away’ and ‘Round About the Mountain’.Jeanne Conard Jones hails originally from Cincinatti, Ohio. She moved to Germany for 30 years of her life where she conducted choirs and regularly performed as a coloratura lyrical soprano soloist.
She is accompanied by Jobe Baker-Sullivan, a composer and local animateur who plays regularly at the Church venue on a Sunday.
Jobe will also play a couple of numbers on the newly installed organ.
