About this Event
Do you have beauty products you don’t want? Studies say the average PERSON (not just women) has over 40 products in their stash at a time. Are you using all of them? Are there some you regret buying? Here’s your chance to get rid of them and hopefully find something better!
Come to Beauties&Brew’s first beauty product swap with your gently or unused beauty products! Anything enclosed and more than half full is welcome! (“Enclosed” - products with flip top caps or pump dispensers are ideal.)
When you enter we will have a sanitation station and check in station. You can start by making your product look presentable before arriving but at the sanitation station we will guide you on how to clean up your products so that it can become the next person's treasure!
All items will be categorized into dollar amount categories. Whatever your item is categorized as, is where your options to switch will lie. You also have the option to pay a small fee for these items at this reduced amount if you have nothing to switch.
Here lies the do’s & don’ts and the will’s & won’t’s ;-):
Here is what we can accept that is sanitary and can be sanitized:
- Enclosed Shower Gels
- Unopened Soap Bars
- Enclosed Lotion
- Enclosed Face Wash
- Face Masks
- Face Make-Up (Exclusions)
- Unopened/Unused Lashes
- Gently Used/Clean Beauty Tools
- Unused Make-Up Brushes
- Unopened or Sharpenable Liners
- Hair Styling Creams or Butters
- Leave-in Conditioner
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Hair Dye
- Press-Ons
- Nail Polish/Design Supplies
- Unopened Braiding Hair
Here is what we can’t accept for sanitary reasons:
- Opened Lip Gloss/balm
- Opened Liquid Eyeliner
- Opened Body Butters (Unless Enclosed)
- Used Soap Bars
- Opened Roll-On Perfumes
- Discolored Products
If there is anything you’re unsure about bringing, bring it anyway and we’ll let you know if it’s acceptable! Even it's not accepted into a category, you might can switch with a fellow community member.
If you decide you don’t see anything worth swapping for, you can return to the check-in station and grab your product, if you still have a ticket for that category and your product is still there. Otherwise any leftover products will be donated to those who need it more than us.
