Based on our book discussion, I have just read a summary of Hamlet.... and now have another million questions to ask about our Hamnet!!�
Onto our next book for the November 19th meeting.
'The Wrong Sister' by Claire Douglas won this month's vote. I look forward to discussing this with you all.
For our December meeting, which falls on 19th December, we discussed maybe having a Christmas meal at the Gazelle (£25 two courses/£30 three courses). I spoke to the owner last night and he said that should we decide to do this, he would offer a 20% discount to us !!
Could you all please contact me through private message to let me know if you would like to have a Christmas meal, or would prefer a basic book club meet, (in which case we would probably meet somewhere else to free the space for Christmas bookings). Your preference will remain confidential and no reason needs to be given, just a yes or no.
