Skyylab - Event Visuals & Lighting (Workshop)

Get hands-on with a range of lighting equipment and learn what it takes to be a professional, freelance lighting engineer with Malcolm Skyylab. This workshop will give attendees a glimpse into the world of lighting, visuals and programming
Skyylab Visual & Event Production is an independent event productions company based in Nottingham, rum by VJ & DJ Malcolm Bliss-Brown & was started 16 years ago out of a need for lasers for his own events, a few friends then asked Malcolm to supply their events with lasers & the rest is a history of blurred, long weekends & motorway miles as Skyylab has been a full time, nationally operating business since 2019.
The Cat’s Mother Network supports female-identifying people aged 18–25 who want to work behind the scenes in music, providing free mentoring, guidance and industry connection opportunities. You will have access to signing up on the day to our mentoring programme.

Held at Mimm Studios, Nottingham and focusing on showcasing a wide breadth of local career pathway from within the Music Industry and also celebrating the talents of the young creatives from the Beatknots Music Academy. We have curated a vibrant 3-week schedule, featuring a range of Talks, Masterclasses, Performances and Workshops.
