CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Anytime can feel stressful, but the holidays can sometimes add an extra hectic note to our lives.
In this low-key workshop, instructor Jennifer Wilkin Penick invites you to sit down, slow down, and to mindfully doodle with her. Using ink and a brush, she will lead you through creating patterns that are both beautiful and meditative.
You will leave with a series of lovely painted patterns that can be used in a variety of ways.
About the Instructor:
Jennifer studied studio art as an undergraduate student and earned an MA in (Italian) Art History. Her artwork has been exhibited in Rome, Italy; Portland, Oregon; Arlington, Virginia; and Washington, DC. In addition to being a practicing artist, she teaches at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington and has been a Visual-Artist-in-Residence with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's Arts & Humanities Program since 2018.
