There’s always been a strong link between the original mod and 2 Tone sounds and the resurgence that came back through the 90s Britpop era. Bands like Ocean Colour Scene and Oasis brought those influences back, and the scooter rally scene saw a whole new wave of people getting involved.Beat Surrender brings that crossover together — 2 Tone, Mod Revival and a touch of 90s Britpop — all played properly on vinyl.
The idea is simple… good records, like-minded crowd, and a proper rooftop all-dayer in the summer. If you were part of the scene then, or still follow it now, this is one for you.
