Beat:Cancer and Elektrovox are excited to bring your three powerhouses of the industrial scene to 229 London. We give you ESA, Iszoloscope & grabyourface.100% of all profits to this gig will be going to Rowans Hospice.
ESA : Electronic Substance Abuse (UK)
Since Inception in 2004, British born ESA (aka Jamie Blacker) has been treading its own ground. A fusion of hard electronic rhythms and powerful sonic hooks. ESA’s heavy, rhythmic style has since become rooted at the forefront of the Harsh Industrial / Power Electronics / Darkwave scene, predominantly owing to slews of powerful and engaging live shows all over the globe and 12 hard hitting and critically acclaimed albums.
Iszoloscope (Canada/Netherlands)
Yann Faussurier has been making music under the moniker Iszoloscope since 1999, crafting pulsing, pounding soundscapes with a core of industrial, hard-core, break-core and rhythmic noise layered with intelligent and often surprising details, such as melodic percussions and carefully placed breaks, rich, orchestral textures and dark, cinematic distortions. Experimental in nature and charged with energy, the music evokes a darkness, tension and atmosphere which immediately carries the listener away on an immersive, complex journey of introspection.
grabyourface (France)
Marie’s range of style brings something to the table for everyone. Starting off in the deepest sways of depression and emotion, and steadily releasing heavier, dancier, more cathartic rage filled floor stompers and techno rave tunes between the sorrowful tracks – non-binary icon Marie is someone we can all relate to. Depression, grief, self doubt, and rage at the way the world is turning, rage at the banks, the politicians and the misogynists. Marie brings forth a war cry that transcends gender and genre. When grabyourface plays in nightclubs across the scene, it hits HARD!
