Event detailsThe one, the only BEAST of the EAST TOURNEY is back!!!! Free your inner warrior BEAST! Come indulge in a bit of pageantry and display your chivalrous qualities for this will be a day to show your love for the sword play that we do. To the Royalty, Royal Peers, Peers, Barons, and Baronesses, and to the populace of the East and the Known World, if you love a tourney of chivalry and virtue, then we invite you to join us for the day.
What is "THE BEAST OF TOURNAMENT"? A tournament that will challenge you -- Will you be brave enough to pick the gauntlet up? Do you embrace the spirit and heart of sword fighting? Do you think you are formidable and daunting on the field? Show off your heraldry and display those fearsome, chivalrous qualities! This will be a day to show your love for swordplay, strategy, and yes ENDURANCE. Just let it ROAR! FAIR Warning make sure you have your endurance at full charge. Both formats will not be for the faint of heart or anyone with low energy. What can you expect? In short- a full day of swordplay and great competition. If you love a tourney of chivalry and honor, then we invite you to join us for an awesome day of fencing and fighting!

Duchess Katherine Stanhope will also be hosting the remaining portions of the Tournament of Roses, with tournaments for Archery, Thrown Weapons, and A&S! So, sharpen your weapons, check your points and fletches, bring out your best A&S endeavors, and prepare for a day of fun and challenge.

Directions:
FROM SPRINGFIELD, MA:
Make your best way to CT Route 2 Eastbound, and **take Exit 17.
At the end of the exit, go left over Route 2 and bear right at the Yield onto Old Hartford Road.
Go past the 2 gas stations on your right, slow down at the second one.
At the next traffic light turn left onto Rt 85 / Amston Road. The driveway entrance is 1.2 miles from this intersection.
At the Fish and Game Club sign, continue straight. When you get to the cemeteries just after this, SLOW DOWN, the road has a blind turn and the site is near.
.2 miles from the cemeteries, the driveway will be on your right, with a white house opposite the entrance and a domed barn next to the driveway.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Make your best way to Route 2 Westbound in eastern Connecticut.
*At Exit 18 (Route 16), head EAST past the Ukranian Church, toward the center of town.
At the T intersection facing the town green, go left at the traffic light onto Main Street. Continue straight on Main Street through 1 traffic light, and at the next light (Route 85 / Amston Road), turn right. The driveway entrance is 1.2 miles from this intersection.

FROM THE NORTH:
Make your way to I-395 in Connecticut, and take the exit for Route 2 West. Follow instructions from * in "From the South" above.
FROM CENTRAL CT:
Take Route 9 northeast toward Hartford, connect with I-91 toward Hartford. Follow signs for Route 3 (Glastonbury), and take Route 3 to Route 2 East. Follow instructions from ** above in "From Springfield, MA" above.

This survey does ask for membership information but you will still need to provide proof of membership at the event.
