Bearsville Park
The tradition continues.
The Bearsville Bluegrass Festival returns to Bearsville Park for another unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend celebration and if you’ve been before, you already know this is one of the Hudson Valley’s most beloved annual gatherings.
Every year, music lovers, families, and friends fill the park for an afternoon of soaring harmonies, driving rhythms, delicious food, and pure Catskills atmosphere. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back under the trees.
Live Music Featuring:
• On the Trail with Austin Scelzo
• Catskill Mountain String Band with Bruno Bruzzese
• Bugs on a Log String Band
Music runs from 12pm–6pm.
Beyond the stage, the entire park comes alive. Take a guided Nature Trail with Dave Holden, explore Bearsville’s legendary musical history on a Rock & Roll Tour with Larry Germack, and enjoy family-friendly games and entertainment throughout the day.
We’re also thrilled to welcome back the Phoenicia Flea Market, bringing a curated selection of makers, artisans, and vintage finds to explore between sets.
Come hungry! Festival favorites like meat and vegan brats, pulled pork, salted potatoes, grilled sweetcorn, and watermelon will be served all afternoon.
AND NEW THIS YEAR....
Join Us for a Community Harmony Session. We’d love you to be part of something special.
Before the festival begins, join us at 11am for a relaxed and welcoming community singing workshop led by Austin Scelzo. This is a chance to come together, lift your voice, and experience the joy of singing harmony in a fun and supportive setting.
Whether you’re part of a choir, a singing group, or simply someone who loves to sing, you’re invited. No pressure, no performance, just the shared experience of making music together.
Austin will guide a one-hour session focused on simple bluegrass harmonies, helping you build confidence singing duets and trios with others. He’s also the creator of an online tool designed to make harmony singing more accessible, you can explore it at SingBluegrassHarmony.com.
The session is completely free, with your festival admission ticket and open to all.
Come along, bring a friend, and start the day with music, connection, and community.
