Bean Sí 003 (Live)
Welcome to Bean Sí 003 (Live) at The Baby G! Get ready for a night of electrifying performances by last year's River & Sky forest stage highlights, Willow Switch and Kali Horse, along with ethereal folktronica artist, Animal Party. Join us for a night filled with music, art, and community. Visuals on the night will include a handmade stage installation by Willow Switch themselves, as well as projections by Fongkikid. This in-person event promises to be an unforgettable experience, so grab your tickets quick before they sell out. Music starts at 9pm and will continue late into the night.
Willow Switch
Hailing from London Ontario, Willow Switch is the crossroads between saw-player and guitarist Andra Zlatescu, and banjo player Robin Henry. Together they call on the spirits of the land and sing in ambient haunting harmonies. Their first album was released on Samhain 2023.
Willow Switch is a folk music duo that sing dark spiritual dirges, like a cold fog billowing down the mountain.
Kali Horse
Kali Horse is the post-psychedelic art-rock collaboration between multi-instrumentalist producers Sam Maloney and Desiree Das Gupta from Toronto, ON. Digital and live drums under air-tight harmonies, with electric guitar lines enveloped by foley samples ripples with 90s sludge energy.
Animal Party
Animal Party is a multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer with a hardware-heavy live show, which includes live harp, midi controls, and live manipulation of pre-recorded sounds. She paints imagery of natural phenomena, relating to the human condition and her own personal experiences through music by blending dense textures, ample beats, organic and synthetic sounds. Drawing influence from DJing, as a staple of Toronto’s underground rave scene, Sinéad has begun experimenting with the fusing of percussive club sounds and higher bpms with the ethereal soundscapes she has been previously known for.
Bean Sí supports a free Palestine, Landback, abolishing the police, an end to imperialism, and the freeing of indigenous peoples and cultures worldwide.
