We will be working on trails that require either hiking or biking up to the work area from the trailhead/Kiosk Area.WORK SESSION DETAILS:
- Meet at the west-side/lower Bike parking lot at 9:00 am.
- We’ll work until around 1:00 (approximately 4 hours).
- Wear appropriate clothing for comfort and safety. Long-sleeve shirts, long pants, closed-toe shoes, a hard hat (a bike helmet works great), gloves, and eye protection are required.
Don’t forget to bring water and/or hydration.
- We’ll provide the necessary tools for brushing, trail contouring, tread maintenance, and other tasks.
- Snacks will be provided during the mid-session break, and refreshments will be offered at the end of the session.
The day will begin with a short participant meeting at the Trailhead to introduce everyone, discuss safety and trail maintenance procedures, explain tool use methods, identify the trails we’ll be working on, and answer any questions.
We hope to make this a fun, safe, and enjoyable work session for everyone. We also hope you will join us monthly and invite all your riding buddies and friends to join us as we continue to make Bean Peaks the premier Gravity Flow Trail System in the Southwest.
