Film: After the Wedding
A manager of an orphanage in Kolkata travels to New York to meet a benefactor. American, Isabel has been working in an orphanage in Calcutta for many years. One day she receives an offer of a potential donation worth millions, but only on condition that Isabel meets the donor in person. Reluctantly, Isabel flies home. She is hesitant to leave her project behind, especially Jai, a boy she found on the street when he was one year old and to whom she has become a kind of surrogate mother. In New York, Isabelle reconnects with her past, her family and old loves.
