
In 1965 the last known copy of "London After Midnight" was destroyed in a vault fire at MGM. Since that day horror fans from all over the world have made it their mission to track down any information that may lead to a discover of a surviving print. This on going search has made the film the most sought after lost horror film of all time and it is about time we tell you all about it. There is not better time to do then on the 90th anniversary of the release of it's sound remake "Mark of the Vampire" (1935)!!!
Join us as we discuss the history of both "London After Midnight" and "Mark of the Vampire" display examples of these films in today's pop culture and have a screening of "Mark of the Vampire". As always attendees are aloud to bring items that they would like to show everyone.
Event is FREE and will be held on the top floor of A. Schwab's on Beale Street.
NOTE: The photo reconstruction of "London After Midnight" will also be present at the meeting and will be screened as well if voted upon. The reason it is not in the main line up for the event is due to the film being basically a slideshow that some attendees may not want to seat through.
