Beads & Belonging is more than a jewelry workshop. It is a mindful experience where creativity meets intention and community. Guided by Deidra McNish Brown of D’s Delights, guests will design their own African beaded bracelet while participating in thoughtful moments of affirmation and intention setting.
Throughout the evening, we will pause for mindful reflections designed to help you center yourself, embrace belonging, and carry your intentions forward through the jewelry you create.
The bracelets will be crafted using handmade African recycled glass beads, a beautiful tradition rooted in sustainability and artistry. These beads are created from recycled glass that is crushed, molded, and fired by artisans, transforming discarded materials into meaningful adornment. Each bead carries a story of craftsmanship, renewal, and cultural heritage.
Each bead becomes a symbol.
Each bracelet becomes a reminder.
This intimate experience invites you to slow down, connect with others, and create something meaningful with your hands.
