About this Event
Learn how to create a simple beaded wire-wrapped ring without the need for soldering, continuing the methods of ancient jewelry makers. During this 2-hour workshop, you'll have the chance to customize your own beaded wire-wrapped ring. This technique involves using wire to secure stones and dates back thousands of years. Some of the earliest examples come from ancient Egypt, where artisans wrapped gold wire around gemstones to create beautiful rings worn by royalty and the elite. This method was also common in ancient Greece and Rome, where wire wrapping was used for both decorative and functional purposes. No experience required!
