About this Event
On Thursday, November 7, Beacon Pacific Village will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, hosted by the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) alongside its project development partners. The event will feature remarks from project leaders, and members of the press and curious guests are invited to come early for exclusive building tours, showcasing the energy-efficient, family-sized apartment homes.
Beacon Pacific Village, developed by SCIDpda, is a mixed-use community on the historic Pacific Hospital campus. This development, which is now pre-leasing with move-ins scheduled to begin this fall, includes 160 affordable family-sized units—20% of which have 3- or 4-bedroom layouts. The project features a Healthy Aging and Wellness Center operated by International Community Health Services (ICHS) and a childcare center run by El Centro de la Raza. Located in a transit-rich area near downtown Seattle, Beacon Pacific Village is dedicated to addressing displacement issues in Beacon Hill and the International District by offering vital services and housing for working class and multi-generational families to live in the city.
