Beach Bluff Sunset Soundbath & Gong Ceremony
Join us in person for a blissful evening at the Beach Bluff as the sun sets. Immerse yourself in a soothing soundbath and the deep, resonant vibrations of a gong ceremony. It's the perfect way to unwind, relax, and connect with nature’s rhythm. Bring a few blankets + pillow, your open heart, and get ready for some serious chill vibes by the water’s edge. Don’t miss this magical experience under the sky!
LOCATION:
Compass Rose Overlook is just North of Alila Marea Beach Resort on the boarder of Encinitas & Carlsbad. It is not uncommon to see dolphins in the waves below and pelicans flying overhead. Clouds moving slowly and colors of the sunset make the experience magical. (weather permitting)

WHAT IS A SOUNDBATH?
We will be opening with a few minutes of mantra that sets the tone for the body to relax and 50 minutes of instrumentals, which include Gong Bath, Ocean Rain Drum, Crystal Chimes, Indian Customary Ting Shas and Bells to guide you into a deep relaxing meditative state. The chosen high frequency instruments emit sound and vibration to synchronize brainwaves and vibrate every cell in the body to help create a deep sense of peace, reduced stress/anxiety as well as clarity of the mind.
ALILA MAREA:
If you are looking for something to do before/after the soundbath ceremony, it's steps away from dinner or cocktails at Alila Marea Beach Resort. Compass Rose Bluff Overlook is just a few steps up the Beach Access Stairs at the South Ponto Beach Parking Lot. From Compass Rose Bluff Overlook, the stairs continue upwards to backside of the beautiful Alila Marea Beach Resort in Encinitas, Ca (Leucadia)
PARKING:
If you are planning on visiting Alila Marea for dinner/cocktails you have an option to valet park with the Alila Marea. The two restaurants/bars are Vaga (reservations needed for dinner - not needed for bar area)and The Pocket (no reservatons needed). Parking is $10 with validation.
Beach Parking: Park at the State Beach Parking Lot at stairs for a $15 fee or Free with Annual State Parking Pass.
Free Beach Parking: along the Hwy 101 - anywhere North of State Beach Parking Lot (make sure you reserve enough time to not feel rushed)
BRING:
A few blankets or yoga mat + 2 blankets, pillow (optional), eye cover (optional but nice), water, dress in layers. Anything to make you feel comfortable laying down for an hour.
