About this Event
Friday afternoon just got a little Wilder!
Join the Be Wild Mini Meadow Movement at Fast Friends for a Friday Social Hour designed to help you relax while the kids get their "eyeballs engaged" with the world around them.
We’re bringing our Pollination Education (a new kind of PE!) to the incredible Fast Friends outdoor playscape.
It’s the perfect way to end the week—building community, learning about our native ecosystem, and getting our hands in the dirt.
What to Expect:
- Free STEM Social Hour (4 PM – 5 PM): We’ll be hosting hands-on, nature-inspired STEM activities that are kid-friendly but fun for all ages. From soil biology to pollinator patterns, we’re making science feel like play.
- Outdoor Exploration: Take advantage of the amazing Fast Friends playscape and the fresh air.
- Community Roots: Meet other families, chat with our all-women-led "Wild" team, and help us grow our local ecological network.
- Stay for the Evening: While our STEM programming is free, we encourage you to stick around after 5 PM! Grab a pizza, enjoy the atmosphere, and make an entire Friday evening of it at one of our favorite local spots.
Why We Do It:
At Be Wild, we are on a mission to protect our native pollinators by starting from the ground up.
This event is part of our commitment to Pollination Education, helping families understand the "connectedness of everything" while having a blast outdoors.
