About this Event
There are seasons in life when we feel the pull to come home to ourselves—to strip away the noise, the expectations, and the distractions, and reconnect with who we were always meant to be. Back to Your Roots is an invitation to do exactly that.
Rooting ourselves means building a strong, grounded foundation. What we nurture is what grows. When we take time to care for our thoughts, our habits, and our environment, we create the conditions for confidence, resilience, and meaningful connection to flourish. This morning experience is designed to help you realign with your values, reconnect with your purpose, and plant seeds for lasting wellness.
Join us for a powerful and nourishing morning on Sunday, April 26th at The Barn at Wind’s Edge.

What to Expect
We’ll begin by grounding into the day with a deeply restorative sound bath, allowing you to settle your nervous system and arrive fully present.
From there, you’ll hear from two inspiring speakers:
- Dr. Alana Holt (Psychiatrist) will explore the theme of roots through the lens of growth and mindset—drawing parallels between the land, what we nurture, and how our thoughts and behaviors shape our lives. She’ll share practical tools for cultivating a positive attitude, building confidence, and strengthening community.
- Danielle Corimer, PhD will guide us through the concepts of grit and compassion in movement and exercise. Her talk will focus on creating sustainable habits and committing to wellness and fitness in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and empowering.
We’ll close the morning with an energizing and empowering workout led by Be Well co-founders Justine Angell and Cassidy Bailey—a chance to embody everything you’ve learned and reconnect with your strength.
What to Bring
- Yoga mat
- Clean indoor workout shoes
- Water bottle
- Notebook + pen
This is more than an event—it’s a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your roots so you can grow forward with clarity and intention.
We can’t wait to share this meaningful morning with you.
