Be My Neighbor Day

Be My Neighbor Day is a fun and free family event that celebrates kindness and the importance of being a caring neighbor. Throughout the event, you’ll be able to:

• Complete hands-on crafts and activities inspired by Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood
• Participate in community acts of kindness and write thank you notes to community helpers
• Meet local first responders and explore an ambulance, fire truck, and more
• Collect stamps around the event and win PBS KIDS-themed prizes
• Take a photo with Daniel Tiger!

While Be My Neighbor Day is free, space is limited and registration is required.

When you register to attend the event, you will be asked to sign up for a meet-and-greet time slot during registration on Eventbrite. To ensure that everyone has the time and opportunity to participate in a meet and greet with Daniel Tiger, you will only be able to meet Daniel Tiger during your selected time slot. You can enjoy the other activities that are a part of Be My Neighbor Day throughout the time of the event, from 10AM through 2PM.

During Be My Neighbor Day, River City Food Bank will be collecting non-perishable food to distribute to our neighbors throughout Sacramento County! Food donations are encouraged, but not required for admission.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during the event. There will be a picnic area with tables and chairs. Food will also be available to purchase from local food trucks.

There will be a designated area for stroller parking with stroller valets available to “park” your stroller!
