Sam (Charlie Thurston) travels to California’s cowboy country to look after his volatile, gun-obsessed brother Chuck (David Jacobs) following the death of Chuck’s girlfriend. What begins as a reunion between the two brothers, spirals into something far more dangerous when Chuck pulls Sam into a half-baked scheme to blackmail Boss Larsen, the most powerful rancher in town. Tired Horses is a darkly comic ride into the myth and menace of the American West—where grief, masculinity, and bad ideas collide.
