Join us for a performance of highly contrasting Early Music masterpieces !⭐ The Miserere by Gregorio Allegri was written for the Sistine chapel in the 1630s in a style halfway between the Renaissance and the Baroque. With its epic high C, it is both easily recognised and dazzlingly beautiful
⭐ Written about 100 years later in Protestant Germany, J.S. Bach’s inspiring motet Jesu meine Freude offers a striking contrast with its fast and lively music, and its joyous perspective on life and death
We will also perform works by Monteverdi and Lotti 🎼
🎤 Soprano solo : Sarah Van Mol
🎹 Organ : Jan Moeyaert
