About this Event
The Bayview-Hunters Point Community Emission Reduction Plan (CERP) AB 617 Program calls for community-driven and community-focused actions to reduce local air pollution emissions exposure and associated health burdens. It is a recognition that communities and people most impacted by air pollution in their communities need to be brought in as experts on the ground. AB 617 requires Air Districts to work closely with communities with enhanced transparency, access to information, public engagement, and education to plan and implement community-focused solutions that address community priorities. Meetings are facilitated by En2action, a Bayview-Hunters Point community nonprofit, and will be held at the new, state of the art Southeast Community Center (SECC), this month in the Alex Pitcher Pavilion. The meeting has been extended to 2.5 hours, now running 5 pm - 7:30pm. Dinner and refreshments will be served.
