Bayou Diesel is returning to the Cork & Keg for the 2026 Mardi Gras Season. This band has been a legacy member of the Asheville cajun-zydeco community for over 20 years and has, since Covid, appeared only occasionally. This year's performance will feature Steve Burnside on accordions, Renee Hopkins on rubboard and electric guitar, Lois Jolly on electric bass, Darryl Cornel on lead guitar and Sam Webber on drums. There will be new tunes and plenty of great rhythms for dancing. We are looking forward to a fun evening with friends, sit-in guests and support from the dance community. Et toi!
