The Bayou Diesel Band has been touring the bayous and valleys of Western North Carolina since 2002. Led by Steve Burnside on accordion and Tall Paul on bass, the group has performed everywhere from Merlefest to Bele Chere to Asheville’s Downtown After 5. Continuing to be a top rate dance band, now in 2013, the group plies the clublands and wedding landscapes of the Southern Appalachian tapestry. With 2 CD’s “Sold Here” and “The Bayou Diesel Band, Et Toi!”, the environmentally affable chaps are Creole contenders in the zydeco industry.
