Bay Area Musical Improv Festival - Saturday 8:30PM Show

Welcome to the first annual Bay Area Musical Improv Festival, bringing together musical improvisers from around the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country for a weekend of musical improv shows, workshops and jams at the All Out Comedy Theater!

Over the course of the three-day festival weekend, there will be six shows, featuring selected performers from around the Bay Area and as far away as Chicago and Hawaii.

There will be three acts performing as part of this 90-minute show:

Audience members become Broadway musical investors looking for the next smash hit by suggesting song titles to the talented BATS Improv team–then vote on which song continues on to become a Broadway musical.

In this completely improvised musical, four performers create a suite of shared characters and explore the depths of their relationships.

La Spazzatura [Italian: (n) trash] is low brow opera, high brow improv. Based on a single audience suggestion, they perform comedic arias, duets, and perfectly executed recitativo* accompanied by piano. *That sound you heard was Mozart rolling in his grave.
