A variant on our Pit Fights! Entry gets you a Clan Invasion Salvage box, unpack the mech and see what you will be using.
Balancing will be done using the 3/4 BV rating of the basic mech you have pulled (based on the mech designations on the Alpha Strike cards included) - this will put you into a bracket. Where the bracket falls then decides your pilot rating:
BV under 1,000 = Pilot rating of 2/2
BV between 1,000 and 1999 = Pilot rating of 3/2
BV between 2000 and 2999 = Pilot rating of 3/4
BV over 3,000 = Pilot rating of 4/5
Ratings may be adjusted on the night by Grim
The Pit will be one map sheet with 3D terrain, each activation will be time limited to two minutes.
Light mechs (Mechs under 1000BV) will have a "reserve" rule where if they are destroyed early game they respawn on a randomly determined map edge.
Rounds will be played in pods with the winners of each pod facing off against the others (depending on numbers)
Last Mech standing may get an award .....
