About this Event
Join us at Grimsby Books on Friday, May 29th, from 6 to 8 PM for our first Battle of the Tropes!
Select one of four tropes and join your team! This event features enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, second chance, and forced proximity.
You will be on a team of up to four people who all agree that your trope is the superior trope. The Grimsby Books Team will guide the event with discussion prompts and debate questions.
While much of this is a debate-style event, please note that this is just for fun!
The winning trope's team will get bragging rights.
How is the winner chosen? To keep things fair, attendees will be asked to vote for the trope they think made the best case for why their trope is the best trope (not necessarily their second-favourite trope from the event's options!), and it cannot be the trope they represented.
