Saturday January 3 is our WWII Battle of the Bulge living history event with reenactors portraying Allied and Axis soldiers demonstrating the battle tactics used during WWII. (link for reenactors is in the comments below.) The "battle" will feature a "rolling scenario" with skirmishes taking place in various locations of the park throughout the day.The morning Safety & Authenticity formation will begin the day at 0900 outside building 702 in the Historic Camp Glenn Area. Just after this the troops will move into their respective areas of the park to begin the action. Guides will be on hand to direct visitors to the appropriate parking and viewing areas depending on their time of arrival during the day.
A tempary special display about the Battle of the Bulge will be set up in building 701 (east of the Visitors Center). It will be availble from 10 AM to 4 PM. (see other event pages for other days and times availble to visit)
There is no fee for this event but normal Indiana State Park gate fees do apply.
