What is Battle of the Books?
A yearly competition for students in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th, that attend Fairfax, Tarkio, and Rock Port school districts.
The competition is for group of four students to read the 12 Mark Twain Award Nominees for the year and answer questions about them.
If your student would like to learn more they can attend one of our local meetings where we will talk about the books, have practice questions, snacks and a fun activity that aligns with the books for this years contest!
11/4 - Fairfax practice 4-5pm
11/11 - Rock Port practice 4-5pm
11/18 - Tarkio practice 4-5pm
12/9 - Fairfax practice 4-5pm
12/15 - Rock Port practice 4-5pm
12/17 - Tarkio practice 4-5pm
1/6 - Fairfax practice 4-5pm
1/13 - Rock Port practice 4-5pm
1/20 - Tarkio 4-5pm
