Join us for Huntersville's first ever Battle of the Bands! Take your band out of the garage and compete for a paid performance opportunity.We're looking for youth bands who want to show off their skills! All members of the band must be currently enrolled in 6th-12th grade.
Each band will have 15 minutes on the stage, including time to set up or leave the stage. Bands can play as many songs as they would like during that 15-minute time slot. Bands will be required to submit a list of all songs to be played by May 14, one week prior to the event. Bands who do not submit their song list will be removed from the competition. Audience members will be able to vote for their favorites.
Registration is $10 per band for Huntersville residents and $12 for non-residents. Resident rate is based on the address of the person applying. Registration includes a t-shirt for all band members.
A backline will be provided.
All band members must be available on BOTH May 21, 2026, the Battle of the Bands competition day, and October 25, 2026 to perform at Halloween in Huntersville.
Awards:
Winner: Paid performance opportunity at Halloween in Huntersville on Sunday, October 25, 2026 and a trophy
Runner Up: trophy and back up for Halloween performance if the winner is unavailable
