Battle of the Bands applications are open NOW, just fill out the online form and hit SUBMIT! https://visitdefianceohio.com/events/main-street-events/battle-of-the-bands/Bands with at least one member who resides in Defiance, Williams, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, and Putnam Counties are eligible to apply. All music genres are welcome to apply. The three winning bands will play on the Main Stage at the 2025 Defiance Rib Fest and receive monetary prize winnings and abundant promotional exposure.
Local musicians are the heart and soul of a community’s entertainment scene, and the best of Northwest Ohio will hit the stage to battle it out on Saturday, August 16th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the 1918 Football Field located at 629 Arabella Street. Battle of the Bands 2025 will host bands from the 5-county area, and the top three will perform as opening acts during the 2025 Defiance Rib Fest on September 27th.
Battle of the Bands is hosted by the Defiance Main Street & Visitors Bureau.
