The 2026 Re-Enactment of the Battle of Carthage will be held on June 6th and 7th at the Civil War Ranch. Reenactors may arrive on Friday to set up camp. The event will be open to the public beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, through the evening during the dance. The event will be open again on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Events include visiting the camps to see what camp life for Civil War Soldiers was like, and there will also be drills during the day. There will be displays to visit and vendors to check out. The Battle will begin and 1:00 p.m. each day. There will be a Civil War Dance on Saturday evening and an event earlier in the day for the women.
We will post a list of events once we get them all worked out, but it will be much like previous years. Come out and ask questions. We love to give everyone our war stories and the reasons we still remember our ancestors today.
